Jet black for chairman's and chairman one. White for P1, charcoal for plat, yellow for gold, light grey for silver.

Son is adamant he saw a white Qantas tag. Is it P1?
Thanks
Correct

Yes, P1 are white. I find the silver tags look a lot like P1. White does not feel particularly premium in any sense.

The codes that show up in the Amadeus system:

CLPO - Chairman One (Chairman's Lounge who also qualified as Platinum One)
CLQF - Chairman's Lounge
FFPO - Platinum One
FFPL - Platinum
FFGD - Gold
FFSL - Silver
QCSL - Silver with QF club
FFBR - Bronze
QCBR - Bronze with QF club

There's also CPQF but I'm not sure what that is.

I don't use the coasters either.

In fact I gave my latest set to a friend who ... is not P1. So not all of the people out there you see with the tags may actually hold that status :)

I find it odd to have them on bags internationally but I suppose it is easier to just leave on if you travel domestically and internationally?

I think it's hilarious when people use them on carry on (and obviously only carry on) bags with the intent being to show off their Silver and Gold status like they're important. Always gives me a chuckle.
