In 2013, on my first trip back from SIN to PER, when QF still flew the 330, I had a QF boarding pass for the flight from SIN - PER.
Had checked in with the QF website, and printed the boarding pass from the hotel's computer and printer, yes, I *now* know that there is a risk of my QFF account being taken over by doing this, but...
Does the SATS or SPF person at the initial screening point, still need the thicker cardoardy type of airport provided boarding pass to make his stamp onto it, to get to the entry point to ICA (Singapore) outgoing immi counter?
At the time in 2013, he (the guard) mentioned I had to go to the counter to check in, he didn't accept the A4 paper boarding pass I had.
So, just mentally preparing for a possible flight to SIN again, maybe in 2020, whats the procedure now in/at Changi?
Do they now accept home or hotel printed boarding passes? OR QR code on mobile device.
And why I chose QF subbranch to ask, reason I plan to fly QF ADL - MEL/SYD/BNE - SIN, and not fly SQ direct from ADL - SIN.
Thanks.
