Anyone know if it's possible to book individual stays to take advantage of the 1000 points per stay for diamond members?

Geez might not be worth the hassle for 1000 points then given you’re not guarantee the same room and having to check in and out.

Some hotels might be lenient and facilitate the same room, but by no means guaranteed (and in fact, should not be expected). Personally I don't think 1000 points and the additional 'stay' (for HH membership purposes) is worth it.
