Can I use Plat upgrade certs outside of call centre hours?

Hi All,

I've had to book a last minute flight, which means it's on flexi, but booked today (Saturday) flying tomorrow (Sunday).
Can I use my upgrade certificate via the flight booking call centre which is open on the weekends, or am I stuck?

Officially Velocity (the frequent flyer program call centre) is only open from 8am until 8pm Monday to Friday however general reservations is 24/7 and should be able to process the Platinum upgrades.

If you can't get through and there are still seats tomorrow then ask at the airport if it's a domestic flight, international flights will require a call.
