I have an S7 booking coming up, leaving from Hong Kong. The departure airport is described in the booking, and all S7 docs on-line as 'Hong Kong Dupe' or 'HKG Dupe' . Anyone know what 'Dupe' may mean or refer to?

I thought it might be a mis-translation of 'two' (as in HKG T2), but the flight checks in at T1.

I have no idea what it could mean, but I suspect it's some sort of translation error.

I just checked the S7 website and can see HKG listed as Hong Kong Dupe on the English version of the website. When I try the Russian (or German) website it just says Hong Kong, China in the same spot.

BTW, where are you flying S7 to? Sounds like an interesting trip!

It means you've been duped into paying for a flight you won't actually receive. They're giving you a heads up

My thought was it means something like 'SAR" or 'territory of China' or something. Bu anyway - can you ask at check-in and report back? :)

Assume you are visiting and staying on Olkhon Island - it is amazing apparently.
