Hi Brains Trust

Virgin FF here - heading to BKK from SYD and have found a flight that works for me, on SQ.

The issue is I want to travel in Premium Economy SYD SIN return, and then in Y SIN BKK ret, as Premium Economy is not available on the SIN BKK route.

I am guessing I could do it via the VA call centre or a good travel agent.

I cannot book the SIN BKK on VA as a stand alone fare - I would prefer it all on the one PNR so I do not have to clear immigration and re check in in SIN

Does anyone know the work around for this as I want to maximise my SC and points on VA. I can always credit to SQ if I use SQ or TG for the intra asia leg but that would not be my first preference

Many thanks

Multiple PNRs should not be an issue. You can use the transfer desk for onward boarding passes and transferring luggage.

I just used transfer desk again this week on QF/EK booking transferring to TG booking without issues.

SQ->SQ will though check all the way through from SYD, even in separate bookings. Assume this is the same if VA coded. SQ will also through check to TG on different booking, but not sure about TG to SQ.

VA don't publish SYD/BKK fares for W so you would either need to do it as a VA fare to SIN return + a SIN/BKK return on a SQ fare, or do it as a SQ W fare to BKK.

The VA call centre won't be able to do it.

Depending on your dates, it would probably be cheaper to book it as a VA SYD/SIN fare + a SQ SIN/BKK fare on a single PNR as there's a sale on. I can price it for you if you wish to send me a PM with your dates.

Amazing thanks for your responses, I had seen some chatter than you could not get thru booked on different PNR's but SQ is always superior in service

I think they do but through checking is the least of my worries transitting SIN.
