New Amex statement credits

I let the Amex Travel offer lapse as I could not make it work. Too many glitches on website with false availability.
 
Hyatt - spend 650 for 130 credit.

Just checked the hotels and it includes HK, Singapore, Thailand and Japanese hotels - not just the AU ones. coughulative spend as well - pretty decent offer especially for road warriors with multiple Amex.

wondering if I prepay a Hyatt stay for after offer expiry will the bonus click in . i presume it will

Your discussion here reminded me of this offer. I recently booked a hotel using my Charge and wondered where the credit was. Of course, this offer wasn't on my Charge but was my Edge and Reserve. Should have used the Reserve as I would have still received the full serve of points and got the credit - doh!!!

Agoda is my 'go to' site for booking accomodation. Rarely do I find the same hotel cheaper elsewhere once all discounts etc are taken into account (and I search pretty deep once I am ready to book).

The recent Amex travel statement credits are one exception however...

Can you stack this Agoda discount with Cashrewards' 5% off?
I was looking at the Agoda Amex deal but the redemption dates are 01 August 2018 to 10 September 2018 for stay period 01 August 2018 to 31 March 2019.
Unfortunate because I was looking at April 2019 in Japan, which would've been 10% instead of 12% but outside of the date anyway.

Useful info. I've taken to Rocketmiles for Alaska points but admittedly these are for reimbursed bookings

Given the Amex sale fares are accessed via a link, I think not. May also mean the Amex offer is not an additional 12% off best Agoda price

Edit: the link doesnt seen to be Amex-specific so ignore above-may well stack
 
Winestar off still avail till tomorrow presume the Gift cards are ok for credit then use second card for over 300

I think you need to pay at check out not prepaid .
