I don't remember seeing an email but got the message in the app (signed in) about the promotion.
Registered but never got the 1k. Having upcoming stays and receiving an email reminder from IHG to make use of the offer, I sent an internal email via IHG online to ask about the 1k and confirm I'm registered properly even though it's showing in my registered offers.
They responded and said I wasn't targeted so I'm ineligible for the offer. I replied (nicely) and told them if that's the case, then please don't show targeted offers in the app when I'm signed in and I'm not targeted...and then no response...haha

I too wasn't targeted but signed up anyway. I never got the 1K sign up but just received the 5K for the first stay

My +1 and I haven't received the 1k for registering, but we both recently got the 5k for the 1st stay and 9k for the second 2nd stay.
Now waiting for our third stay points.

Also got my 1k too. Maybe pure coincidence but they responded earlier and told me they would let the team know not to show non-targeted offers in the app. Maybe when they were investigating they realised no one got the registration points? lol

They just tried this on me. Since I registered by clicking on an email they sent me, that seems pretty audacious and I'm going to pursue it further.

Sorry to hear you haven't got it yet. If you got an email, I'd say you're actually targeted!

I put claim in for missing bonus for the 1st stay about 2wks ago. I got a semi condescending reply that they take up to 3wks after the actual stay posts. Funnily, I went back and checked and my claim was exactly 3 wks after my stay.

Still no points.

I followed up Wed , which was over 3 weeks (T&C say 2-3 weeks) since my last stay finished on the 7th May , and the initial response was "we don't know about that promotion" , so I had to send the relevant email & confirmation of registration in. Sign up 1000 points posted this morning as a " Goodwill adjustment" on my account & email saying it takes " approximately 3 weeks" for the 5000 points to post for the 1st stay and this should occur on the 4th June ... will wait and see what happens .

So an update .... 5K points for my first stay posted last night , 30 days since my stay . In addition the actual 1K sign up bonus posted also . So they previous 1K "Goodwill Adjustment " turns out to be an added a bonus ...I'll take it.

Poo. What I thought should have been my ‘1st Stay’ ended up being the equivalent of USD$98.33 and the min spend is USD$100.....

I must admit I hadn’t noticed that in the Ts&Cs and besides, Oz rates are quoted GST inclusive....

Anyway, I have one other stay well over that and more on the way.

So if these are the points allocations for this promo:
1k for registering
5k 1st stay
9k 2nd stay
15k 3rd stay
10k Completion bonus
Does that mean that after the 3rd stay you recieve 15K plus 10K. ie 25K for the 3rd stay and completion of the promo.

I have so far received my points for registering, 1st stay and 2nd stay. Has anyone done 3 and recieved points yet. If not I can answer my own question this weekend with a stay at IC Double Bay which will be my 3rd stay.

I was targeted last year and received the first and second stays, not the third or fourth despite complaints to IHG. Targeted again this year, I have received the regn bonus and am burning through my existing points for free nights with a view to forgetting the bad memories in due course. Cheers skip
