SPG transfers to Velocity post changes

Hi Everyone,

Not sure if this is the relevant section to post this on but here goes anyway. With the well publicized changes to the SPG program, what impact will this have on transferring points from SPG to Velocity? Currently out of the 3 to merge, only SPG is transferable to Velocity, and I wonder if this will remain once the full merger has occurred.

Any help is appreciated.

Marriott have said that it will, with a 3:1 transfer rate in the new program.
