If someone invades my personal space I really don’t like it. A crush on buses, trains or lifts I really notice. A massage in the QF First lounge can be relaxing so l will do that.
I have a massage chair thanks to Costco in the US. It works great because I ordered it with Australian power.

Picked up a wonderful foot massage machine at OSIM at Changi. When I asked hubby for a foot massage, he says "I bought you a machine for that" :(

Hubby is doing his piano practice, hes currently playing Pachelbel Canon in D and is doing quite well, except for that odd note he gets wrong.

I should pair up with him! I can contribute the cello part!

My husband joins me for pedicures as well these days. He says hes now outsourced cutting his toe nails, he enjoys it.

Massages are a must when travelling. Would have one every day if I can. When home, every week or 2, especially as its included by my health fund.

Massages are critical to keeping me moving! I am hypermobile so muscles end up holding things in the wrong places. My monthly session which uses cupping and acupuncture in conjunction with the massage releases the tension, undos the knots and relieves pain.

To be any good, a ( therapeutic) massage has to hurt!

Not necessarily but if you have any sore spots (and I have a lot) then it’s likely there may be some mews of complaint. I’d have one every week if I could. 90 minute one this week was bliss.

Why oh why isn't it on TV, free or otherwise, given that there is so much other cough shown. :)

Watched recorded 'The Blues Brothers', seen it many times, but I still laugh, a lot, plus I really like the music.

1980, it can't really be that long ago, can it?

Dunno about mews of complaint, but "my God, you're a sadis_" has escaped my lips a few times!

It does appear occasionally on the local Community Station - Channel 44 in Perth. And yes it is still fun.

Totally disagree but only if done properly. The soft gentle rub downs are a waste of time as you say JohnK.

Much better than a round of golf.
I see a physiotherapist. I feel ok for a couple of hours then all the pains/stiffness returns. Most massages are forgettable experiences. And if you happen to get a bad one you won't forget like the time I went to get a neck/shoulder massage and couldn't move my neck for 3-4 days.

I won't forget the 35, 2 under, I shot at St. Andrews, Rayong on the front nine last year. Could have been a real special day but followed up with 48, 11 over, on the back nine.

I’m not sure how physio got brought into the massage equation. Quite different really.

Personally a good walk where you can enjoy the wild life and scenery is always going to be better than following a little disobedient ball around and saying how special it could have been because I almost did this or that but messed it up.

Or you can still play golf and enjoy the walk, wildlife and scenery?

Hubby had strength and flexibility sessions with his physio every week (getting my monies out health fund). You have to do your homework stretches for it to be effective.

Someone's sore but he's noticed improvement and enjoys going.

Sorry? Do these arcane cyphers refer to some massage therapist, manipulative technique or body slamming?
