Dear all

Need your assistance

Tried to transfer a significant number of my remaining points to my son in law. Based omn the AA web site and my discussion with the AA agent on the phone I actually have to pay AA a not insignificant amount of $USD to do this? Have I got this wrong or is it unlike QFF?

You are not wrong and it is unlike QFF.
It's USD12.50 per 1000 miles transferred.
