So in 25 days we'll be heading to Vietnam for a 10 day break.

Flying into HCMC and then straight on to Hoi An for six nights, before returning to HCMC for another four.

The clothing shops in Hoi An will be naturally a big part of things. I plan to get at least one suit made while there.

From another thread I've found this likely eatery Quán Ụt Ụt – American BBQ & Beer very close to where we'll be staying in HCMC.

Interested in getting to Cu Chi, the War Remnants Museum, and a few other obvious spots.

Just looking for any suggestions as to things we should or could do, places to see, eat and so on.

Will begin a TR a day or so out from the trip as well.

Do your research on tailors in Hoi An. Some trade on the reputation of the area rather than their own expertise.

Enjoy the French influence.

We loved HaNoi and Halong Bay but that’s further north so probably not going to happen.

Yeah definitely just the two destinations for this one. Keeping it simple.
I continue to research tailors, and a few keep coming up as solid options. Bebe, Kimmy, Yaly and A Dong Silk all well reviewed.
Thinking if I stretch to two suits (because why not :) ) I can try two different shops and double my chances.

We'll see.

I remember Yaly from my research 10 years ago! Sadly we didn’t go there. Although one shirt made is still going strong. My clothes were awful.
