Bangkok a Longer Stay ??

Hi,

i am looking at a longer stay in Thailand/Bangkok, than my normal week or two - maybe 1 to 3 months ?

I couldn't find a destination guide entry on here, does anyone know of a good expat form i could join please ?

Just looking for info on visas, renting a unit, transport, and medical side of things ?

Visa on arrival is 30 days and you must visit an Immigration office to extend it.

I did a 3 month rockclimbing trip back in 2009. I applied for a 90 day tourist visa before arriving, then I was able to get a 30 day extension at the immigration office in Krabi.

I just googled that info at the time, don't have much else I can add sorry.
