Thanks MT.

If I book 4 weeks out and then change the date to within 1 week within 24 hours(by phone) will they make me pay the extra tax of the earlier flight?

seems that we can see SQ award on United now :-) just booked for next year travel before the points devaluation in Nov

I also noticed this this morning. I had to do a double-take!

Excellent stuff - saves having to check via Aeroplan and call up.

All routes or selective flights only?

This is not new availability - this is availability which was always there (under SQ's usual rules) - but wasn't visible on UA's online booking tool.

The 'usual' rules = regional flights (and you can get a mix of regional and long-haul aircraft operating those regional flights), and regional aircraft operating to places like Australia ('luxe' cabins are supposedly not available, but there are some exceptions such as the A350 for some reason).

As usual, no F.

No interest in F. Just want to use remaining UA miles the best way possible.

My travel windows are very limited. TG not always best option.

What's available is on line. Easy to search. But now that it's visible probably more likely to be snapped up. Although perhaps given the number of US based UA members there might not be an overwhelming demand for intra-asia.
