Has anyone had any recent issues with the only1 GCs not activating? I went to buy 4. Only 3 activation slips came out. Told the staff member and they manually did a refund/repurchase on another machine with activation. Tried 4 again, the same thing occurred. Didn't buy any more that day. Ergh.

I did a while ago. Turns out the cashier scanned the same one twice, and their system isn't smart enough to pick it up

Oh. I was after something much more recent.

bbqwer - what colour are yours? Mine occurred with the yellow ones, however I have bought them before. Did you go to the self serve?

wow there won't be any giftcards in the catalogue next week.. I hope woolies have not changed their strategy for the new financial year.

I've been waiting on a repeat of the myer giftcards.. wanted to buy a new ipad :(

I seem to now be able to load eWISH onto the WW money app directly on my samsung. Don't know if this is due to upgrading my phone or a new feature

EFTPOS CARDS /FLIGHT CENTRE CARDS/JBHIFI CARDS!
They have limits imposed in the T&C, not sure if it is hard coded at the terminals or if it is staff intervention thing.
The flight centre bonus is not as good as last years(https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/239829). The condition of only have the bonus redeeming online is a little funny because if the bonus is applied onto the card, it shouldnt matter if it is redeemed online or via an agent over the phone/email. If we can't get the bonus instore it means we can't get the flights matched.. then flightcentre is just overpriced and won't see any actual savings.

terms;
^Offer available on pictured cards from 12/7/17-18/7/17. While stocks lasts. Limit of 5 Efpos cards per Woolworths Rewards Member. *Bonus value loaded onto gift card at time of purchase. Bonus value valid on $75 and $150 Flight Centre gift cards. Offer is subject to availability. Customer is limited to 2 bonus vouchers. Bonus vouchers redeemed towards new bookings at Flight Centre. Maximum of 2 vouchers per booking. Bonus vouchers expire on 09/11/17.

Any idea if there is 2000 bonus points for the $100 Perfect Gift Card? Or the offer is simply for the $50 variant?

wondering if it is 2 ff cards per transaction or 2 cards per ww rewards member....

If my maths is right

$55.95 5% discount 53.15
Minus $5 is 1.85 profit so 3.70 per $100
Plus 3ppd.

I'm happy to do it if I can buy more than 2
Max of 2 applies to efptos cards so is different to the perfect gift cards.

I think it may be just the $50 variant. Easy to tell on the day though just scan 1 card and scan your EDR and go to "pay" and it will pop up if you have earned any bonus pts.

If you are referring to the flightcentre cards, then it would really depend on whether woolworths have fixed their POS to enforce it. Based on what is written though, I'd say it is per transaction because the terms written for the EFTPOS cards specifically states per EDR.

There should at least be plenty of $50 eftpos cards around. I can't imagine why anyone would buy these with the fee accounting for 12% of the card's value.

You buy them with a 5% discounted WISH GC, which brings the cost down to 53.15. You also get $5 back in Woolworths rewards, which puts you $1.85 in profit. See also post #1130 above.

$1.85 plus 50~150 points per card makes the value for this one marginal for me. Carrying/managing/cashing out is too much effort. When it was $10 per card it was much more motivating.

That said I will probably still do two per account. I just can't see myself going to town on this (whether or not it is possible)

Really?????? Must be nice to be wealthy and not like free money.

I'm in the US right now and therefore will miss out entirely on this deal and am bitterly disappointed!

I agree. This isn't a let's start queuing at wool worths deal unlike the $10 off $100 card. But since it increases 3ppd I'm happy to use it for all my visa spending.

I'm assuming there is no limit on purchases as well.

From my reading it looks like a limit of 5 for the eftpos card so still worthwhile when using discounted Wish egift card.

the limit of 2 bonuses is for Flight Centre bonus.

The perfect gift cards aren't efptos cards. Those kids cards on sale are efptos. So maybe there is no limit

The perfect gift cards aren't efptos cards.

This simply is NOT correct. The perfect gift cards ARE EFTPOS cards. It specifically states this on the front of the card. There is no possibility at all that these cards are not EFTPOS cards.
