I'm flying MH in Y for the first time from MEL to KUL. I selected bulkhead seat 9A on the A333. Anyone knows what the legroom is like in row 9? Are rows 9 and 10 forming some kind of mini Y cabin located between J and the second exit door?

I found a partial seat map on MH website which seems to confirm that the first two rows of Y are in a separate cabin between J and the galley. https://www.malaysiaairlines.com/my/en/experience/business-class/new_level_of_comfort.html

But any feedback on the amount of legroom in row 9 would be great!

The legroom in row 9 is enormous! Best Y seat on the plane.

The mini cabin is brilliant. Almost feels like E+ due to intimacy, service from J rally behind and also a Lav shared with J pax behind the galley that is curtained off from the main Y cabin. Row 9 leg room is comparable to row 1 in J on a QF 737.

The legroom in row 9 of MH A330 is much more than row 1 of QF B737.

What are seats 9D-G like? 9C and 9H seem to be blocked, apparently due to being bassinet capable. Row 10 doesn't look like it's worth paying any extra for...

From what I saw, 9D,G have the same generous legroom as 9A,C. You are correct, C and H are blocked until checkin.

I think the legroom for 9D-G is a bit bigger than for 9AC and 9 HK.
