Have secured business flight to LAX in September using points.(qantas)looking for ideas and ways to secure a return flight in business or PE have used all my Qantas points. Would credit card points help e.g.. Amex explorer? What is the availability of reward flights coming back from USA using these points. Happy to pay just want a comfy flight home. Open to all suggestions.

Cheers poppeye

Maybe have a look at Lifemiles points - you can buy these points at half price at the moment, and they have decent availability USA-Australia via either Japan or Korea.

You would have to join in the next 48 hours, as you can't buy Lifemiles points until you have been a member for at least 2 weeks.
