Appears that the AZ staff have rejected the proposed changes and now the board have called a emergency meeting. It has been stated that if this happened it is the beginning of the end of the airline ….

I realise that there's probably more to it... but it seems short-sighted to me that the staff/unions would reject a pay cut when the consequences are most likely that they'll end up with no job at all?

If I was Cramer Ball (CEO) , I would have pulled a AJ and called their bluff ... I understand there are meetings later today in ROM to investigate possible sale of the government share or winding up the airline ... EY and the government have both said they are not giving any more $$$ .... LH or EzyJet have been mentioned as possible buyers
