convert krysflyer miles into velocity points

We are flying Adelaide to Singapore return in June 2017 on Singapore airlines. I have registrered as a krysflyer as well as being a velocity member. Can someone please explain how I can convert any benefits received from the Singapore flights into velocity points

Why not put your Velocity number against the booking so you earn directly?

If you want velocity points, just put your VFF # in the booking
