Air France Codeshare via Etihad SYD/CDG

Wondering if anyone has experience of flying Etihad Business SYD to CDG return? Seems to be some cheaper flights using Air France codeshare, but Etihad metal. Would you be guaranteed Etihad flight, or is it possible to be bumped to China or Vietnam airlines? Thanks.

You are 'guaranteed' the flight you booked (subject to something going wrong like lengthy delays when you will be given the choice to either wait out the delay or take another airline).

Your ticket is for a specific flight number, Air France can't change that without your approval. An Air France code-share on a different airline would have a different flight number.
