If rotate the picture, which way? And then they are all the wrong way in the album on the phone.
So are you saying this picture (it is of NZ flight so sort of on topic) is sideways for you but not for me?

I have no idea what you're on about. You can pretty clearly see how those pictures has displayed, if you're saying the top one is ok for you and it is clearly displayed ok here -what is your point?
As for the direction to rotate, lets take the bottom picture. It pretty obviously needs to be rotated 90 degrees clockwise. It's not really that hard.

In any case, I'm just offering help. I really don't give a toss if you want to use that or pick a fight. I suggest you go and argue with a fence post on this point.

The problem is that pictures are the right way up on the phone, but the wrong way around on here.

I think it fixes if you edit, rotate, rotate back, save, then upload.

I simply followed your instructions for the second photo. Crop rotate save and post. But it is now sideways on my phone.

If you see the first photo correctly (as I do) I did nothing to it.

Why do assume I want to pick a fight? I dont. But will be doing a TR in a couple of weeks and want to know my photos will post correctly. THAT IS ALL. Sheesh.

I'm not sure why the response was taken as a personal dig, however a number of us experience gremlins when posting images on the mobile app.

Indeed. Mannej- Could you let me know which of the two pictures of mine posted correctly for you so I can try work it out? Sorry to OP for taking it off topic but might help us both.

The top image is correct, the second image the engines are pointing up.

Here is the menu from today's flight QF124. Menu says its JUN16 so I assume cause it's the first of a new quarter they haven't gotten round to releasing a new menu yet (if they even update TT menus quarterly). The FA did warn me the poached eggs would not be good...and she was 100% correct

[-]Sorry I'm on my phone, and AFF automatically makes these photos sideways[/-]

Service started off as not the usual great Jetconnect service, but once I told the J FA I'd be finishing the bottle of Duval-Leroy she became much friendlier and almost offended when I declined her offer to open a second bottle. Incidentally, she told me they no longer load Tobasco sauce anymore...despite having bloody Mary's on the menu

Thanks for that. Hmm - to be honest, that menu doesn't particularly appeal to me. My flight (AKL-SYD) is next week - do you know if it will be the same menu then?

Not sure. They still had August in-flight magazines. Maybe someone more in the know will be able to say if the menu's are changed quarterly. If it is the same menu, I'd eat some hot food in the lounge and just have the fruit plate.

New menus started today.

Just completed half a dozen trans-Tasman flights this past fortnight. All in J which was good. I snared the menus so will post them along with a few views shortly. In general though:

- service excellent in J cabins, as usual.
- almost entirely new faces in the crews that are AKL-based. Some of my favourites have left, but still good.
- meal service still long but considerably quicker than when the new menus and plating style started.
- on I think 3 or 4 of the 6 flights I had a refurbished 737. Not always a positive as lack of curtain meant Y pax would feel free to use the toilet up front.
- sparkling offered on all flights except the breakfast flight (pre-departure)
- amenity kits handed out on the overnight flights and late-afternoon flights only.

Flight times for connections still suit me so I haven't flown EK on these routes for a while.

Are they refurbing the Jetconnect birds? Or did you get VH registered aircraft (and Aus crews)?

All Jetconnect / kiwi crews best I could tell. Not that they are all NZ'ers. Pretty sure on most flights they sign-off as 'your Auckland / Wellington based crew' too.

Just looked this up on the Qantas source and the 2 overnight MEL-AKL flights were on VH registered aircraft. Still think they were Jetconnect crews but could be wrong (much less interaction on these flights). 6 in an 11 day stretch along with a few domestic flights so it's all a bit blurred (even before factoring in beverages consumed)

VH aircraft will always be Australian crew
ZK aircraft will always be New Zealand crew

Although NZ crew can do other B747 and A380 flights. Not B737.
