The view from my "office"

re: The view from my "office"

Today's office on a hazy afternoon in Lima:

Admittedly, not quite as impressive as yesterday's office!

Driving home yesterday from Chinchilla, stopped for lunch and got a couple of nice shots in the Japanese Gardens, Toowoomba

Then Mrs QF WP snapped these from near the top of the Great Dividing Range as we started on the downward trek.

Not as majestic as the real view, was a little hard to keep my eyes on the road...

And where is the confirmatory pic from the top of Huayna Picchu :p.

No pic from the top of Huayna Picchu this time, but I do have one from the top of Machu Picchu mountain. See that little mountain behind Machu Picchu? That's Huayna Picchu ;) :p

How many balls were they bowling at once
Don't remember much except dancing down the wicket once and getting 4 leg byes over mid on.Umpire said he had never seen it done before.

Do I spy Franschhoek there in the valley? If so, what did you think of the local plonk?

'Fraid not. I'm a long way from the Cape. The 'true' Drakensburg (ie. the World Heritage-listed area) is SE of JNB, forming the W edge of the elevated independent kingdom of Lesotho. My map also shows 'Drakensburg' NE of JNB near Blyde R canyon. A little confusing, given the areas are about 6-7 h drive apart.

re: The view from my "office"

Was at the Hilton Colombo the other day, and this was my view.

I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why?
