Possibly. There's 22000, 26000 and 29000 mile versions of the Circle Pacific fare. Beware that you can only have 2 stopovers in a single region though and that might be where you'll get caught. The SDF/NYC open jaw counts as 1 stopover.

Yes saw that ned to be a workaround stopping less but buying a ticket or two internally. Is HNL and mainland USA considered same region?.

Any idea of the cost for a CP as I cant find it anywhere.

Max of 4 free stopovers. 2 stopovers required. 2 free stopovers per region. Can buy additional stopovers at USD150, max of 2 additional paid stopovers per region.

HNL is considered part of North America. It doesn't appear to be in the xCIRnn rules, but in the RTW rules, you can only travel in one direction via HNL. ie, if you go mainland US-HNL, you can't return to the mainland US and have no option but to go to Asia or Australia. I'd guess the mileage limits would cover that here.

Thanks Himeno.

After seeing this I've come up with a better solution for my old friends, JQ to HNL, then various US airlines mainland ports and Canada, fly direct on CX to HKG then to BNE using a mixture of Y/J and 240K AA miles + cash, be about $10K all up for two.

They are departing May 2017 for a month away and the dates they want can see the CX J flights home on both QF & BA sites so here's hoping. Ps. I had them join AA 2 months ago, they don't travel much so not chasing points.
