Hi, asking for a colleague, what is SQ equivalent of T-80?
He is a no status flyer whom is wanting to select seats on an upcoming flight, there are 3 of them flying however there was no row of 3 available to him.
Is there something like T-80 for SQ where all not yet taken seats can be pre-allocated?

Edit: I've just found out that due to a name error on the first booking, one of the 3 has been split off onto another ticket, so they are unlikely to be automatically placed together. Thus the reason if there is a T-80 equivalent it would be helpful for this friend.

T-96 I believe. If that's not correct definitely T-72. Usually seats do open up considerably at that point.

I can confirm it does appear to be T-96. I have a flight this Sunday and having just checked seat selection at the T-96 mark, significantly more seats were available for selection.
I checked last night and only 4 seats were available for selection...

Thanks guys, I have passed this info onto my colleague.

I think it's also worth mentioning that it can be different depending on the route/load/who-knows-what-else. I've had nothing open up until T-24, and have also seen it open T-72.

It's one of SQ's bigger downfalls – even with top tier VA status, I frequently find myself rocking up at the airport with a coughpy seat somewhere in the back. At this point I'm just grateful not to get middle seats on check-in.
