You have no idea! To put it into context Mr FM and I had 10 guests at our wedding, only 5 of whom were invited - the other 5 were his family who invited themselves. Bridezilla has 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen and is busy planning a wedding in the Blue Mountains in gardens which have nothing, not even electricity, so we have to bring everything in. Mr FM and I are reeling from the shock.

yes Breenhold Gardens - looks stunning and romantic, but I keep on thinking of the logistics - everything is going to be there including the reception!

That is definitely going to require a lot of planning... I'm starting to think about this kind of thing for myself and the +1 but going to such extremes is likely to be put into the "too hard" basket.

The reason wineries around the place all have nice gardens, that only a takes a phone call to arrange. It's only money

Yeah yeah - been through that - gave her dozens of options of places that were outside, beautiful and could do everything for you - nope.

Thank-you - she has already been to see Breenhold and booked the venue, they are so helpful and really encouraging, but apart from supplying the venue and opening the gates for your people they don't so anything. We are looking at Red Pepper and a few others. and yes way off topic, we are going to get our fingers smacked soon!

LOL once they have an idea in there head it is hard to get them to change. We went through it with our own daughters recent wedding. Managed to bribe them with cash to change to a local rather than a hellishly expensive overseas wedding in Santorini.

I would stick with something easier - I think you should be enjoying the day, not stressing because the generator and portaloos didn't turn up. However she has assured me she will organise everything and it is going to be fun.....

Well done (although Santorini is beautiful!). I was complaining to Dr FM yesterday and she just laughed at me and said she had no idea why I thought there would be a simple wedding, given what Miss FM managed to do for her 16th, 18th and 21st birthdays!

At least it's not in a location where you would be stressing because the QF/JQ flight didn't turn up.

Just came across this when searching for Singapore eating options! Just in case anyone reads it - I really wouldn't advise using Breenhold for a wedding at Easter. Having said that they could do it, they then stopped answering queries via emails and clearly didn't want to do it, as that is a busy time for them - wedding was moved.....
