Aer Lingus, BA, Manx, Lufthansa, BMI, Virgin Blue/VA, Jetstar, Qantas (and link etc) Easy Jet, Ryan Air, Flybe, Flybe Nordic, Finnair, Emirates, Etihad, Cathay Pacific, Thai, Singapore, Thompson (package holiday), Air Malta, and I think I flew Malev and Air Italia but they were for rugby tours so that time of my life is a bit fuzzy :)

Heg I was sure I was going to be the only one here who had flown in a Manx plane.

Not many, only 9, but I tend to book with the same airlines, I guess you could say something about them being a known quantity.

Continential
Qantas
Ansett
Virgin Blue
Air New Zealand
American Airlines
Jetstar
Cathay Pacific
British Airways

(This list includes the Links / Connections / Expresses of the above airlines)

I'll be adding Emirates into the list at the end of this month.

According to Openflights, 26, but there are many more from my pre-record keeping days including Sky West and Ansett.

But there was also America West, British Midland, Australian Airlines (mark 1 and 2), Compass, Singapore Airlines, and Lufthansa. I make that 33.

I don't include QF Link, UA Express, AA Eagle etc as separate airlines. If I did, the number would be a lot lot higher.

24 flown on but I have been on board of a whole heap more as ground handler at BRU

I'm surprised I'm the only one that's flown on Impulse so far. It's where I first discovered my love of the 717!

Nope I have from Melb to Coolangatta

Not too many for me - and like others a few defunct ones,

QANTAS
TAA
Australian
ANSETT
East West
Skywest
Compass Mk1
Malaysian
Kendall
Air New Zealand
British Caledonian
Singapore Airlines
Hazleton - I think, Shorts 360 Sydney to Merimbula anyway

Cathay Pacific will be added in July

Like Ozmille I have been on a lot more airlines than I have flown - Customs at Perth Airport in the 1970's.

"Freddie Laker anyone?" - Clazman. I didn't fly Laker but stood air-side to watch a Laker DC10 do a landing with full emergency vehicles deployment. Luckily only a faulty undercarriage light rather than a big problem. But this was after the Turkish Airlines and Air New Zealand crashes so everybody was bit nervous. Laker flew a few "wet lease" trips for Malaysian who had discovered that there new A300's did not have sufficient range for their KL - Perth flights if an alternative was needed.

Garuda, Merpati, Qantas, Virgin, Jetstar oz, Jetstar asia, Pacific Air, Fiji Air, Tiger, Ryanair, Finnair, Cathay, Dragonair, Shanghai air, Juneyao, China Eastern, Air China, China Southern, BA, American, United, Delta, Aeromexico, Aerovega, Viva Aerobus, US, Vietjet, airberlin, Japan air, Spring air, Hong Kong air, Singapore, Thai, Xiamen, Korean, Alaska, Hainan, Lufthansa, Malaysian, Air NZ, Asiana, southwest, westjet.

Think that's about it! 43 in total.

I just started reading a trip report by the awesome Seat 2A over on FT and I read something that would be of interest to this thread.

I'm not sure how to hotlink but here is the quote

"...Fast forward to the present and I’m happy to report that yesterday’s fantasies have become today’s reality. For a kid who at age four became fascinated by airplanes following his first flight aboard a classy golden tailed Continental 707, I’ve done pretty well. As of today I’ve logged 5,125 flights covering 4,972,360 miles aboard 178 different airlines."

Oh! Forgot that! Yes, i'm kinda obsessed about the 717. Flew them weekly up until they were absorbed by QF. The Impulse crew looked after me that's for sure ;)

Compared to most of you, I havent flown much at all.
Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, RyanAir, Air Asia, China Southern, China Eastern, Malaysian Airlines, Thai Airways, Garuda, Virgin, Qantas, SAS, Malmo Aviation, Ving, Estonian Air, Silk Air, KullaFlyg... might be a few more, but these are all I can remember at the moment.
So, 18 in total.

According to Openflights I've got (in descending order of # of flights):

Virgin Australia (inc Virgin Blue and Pacific Blue), Delta, Etihad Airways, United Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Jetstar Australia, Qantas/Qantalink, Air New Zealand, Regional Express, Air Canada, Thai Airways, Cathay Pacific, South African Airways, Aerolineas Argentinas, LAN Airlines, Lufthansa, Air France, Swiss International Air Lines, Scandinavian Airlines System, Finnair, Virgin America, AirTran, Hawaiian Airlines, TAP Portugal, Alitalia, Germanwings, Air Berlin, Virgin Atlantic, Southwest Airlines, Dragonair, GOL, Oceanair, Sharp Airlines. (33)

In addition from memory:

Ansett, Impulse, Kendell, Aeropelican, KLM, Malaysia Airlines, Air China, US Airways, Kenya Airways, Kingfisher, Air India, Avianca Brazil, TAA/ Australia Airlines, Emirates, Easyjet, Jetstar Asia, British Airways, Aer Lingus, Skywest (when independent)

That comes to 52.

I'm surprised it's so many to be honest.

I forgot Freedom Air, just before NZ rolled the A320's into their own livery as Zeal 320. With Impulse, that takes me to 35 (that I can recall, excluding flights I took as a kid with my parents in Europe that I don't recall).

Qantas, Australian Airlines, Virgin/Virgin Blue, Air Lanka, Sri Lankan Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Malaysian Airlines, Air Asia, Jetstar, PIA, Qatar, Emirates, Etihad, Gulf Air, Lufthansa, Swiss, British Airways, Easyjet, Vuling, Iberia - 21 for me

Will be adding Hawaiian Airlines to the list in two weeks time.
