Amex QF transaction question

Hi all. When you purchase say a QF ticket from expedia does it count as a QF transaction for an Amex issued card? I ask as sometimes when I book tickets from expedia it comes up like this:

American Airlines Expediasingapore

Any experiences?

My first instinct/guess, would be no.

But happy to be proven wrong.

Is it a QF flight # on AA metal? I have an Expedia account as well and there is an option to place you FF details in the profile page. Although, I can't recall booking anything via Expedia that would earn QFF points.
