Should I stay or should I go (EuroZone)

I take it you're from a non-misogynistic non-racist non-asshole culture, but have managed to somehow break free from those constraints?

This bollocks doesn't belong anywhere, let alone on a frequent flyer forum.

Would you still be saying its all bollocks when it's your daughter or sister being pack-raped?

Tthere's a simple answer to the question of "should i go?". The obvious answer is to, instead of going to Europe, to go to these Arabic countries now drained of fanatic males instead. You'll have liberty to roam amongst the throngs of now free women, beshackling them of their religious restraints and introducing the wonders of the enlightenment upon them.

But on a more serious note, I would've thought for a bunch of "Frequent" travellers who've been to, experienced or at least aware of the wider world, there'd be greater recognition that concepts of race, nationality, ethnicity and religion are all artificial man-made constructs. People have moved, mixed and co-existed for eons before such concepts as Europe existed - for example I've already posted an article that suggests a lot of European ancestory can be traced to the Middle East.

The chancellor—Western Europe’s most influential political leader—has warned that without a united strategy, the EU’s cherished principle of open Internal borders will fail.

Unfortunately the figures on rape or sexual assault in both Denmark and Sweden show that the majority are committed by immigrants or those whose parents are immigrants. In Sweden the statistics are horrifying.Sweden is now number 2 on the list of countries of incidence of sexual assault on women.Until the mid 2000s the identity of the attacker was publicly available. Those committed by immigrants or their offspring-

So what did the Swedes do.Made it illegal to report the details of the attacker and made it a crime to report the figures above-
Sweden: Rape Capital of the West
And have you forgotten Rotherham-
Rotherham: In the face of such evil, who is the racist now? - Telegraph
And since that came out similar problems have been reported in other UK cities.
Also the attacks in Germany on NYE were not just Cologne.
The problem is not going to go away by pretending it doesn't exist.

Indeed. Looks like attitudes are changing, and all those boils are going to be lanced - about time!

"Swedish police probe 'cover up of migrant sex assaults'"

"Sometimes we do not really say how things are because we believe it may play into the hands of the Sweden Democrats," Mr Agren told Dagens Nyheter, referring to Sweden's right-wing anti-immigration party."

Blind Freddie could see this coming...

"Germany has been sending an increasing number of migrants back to Austria every day since the beginning of the month, Austrian police say."

" "The daily number of migrants being turned back has risen from 60 in December to 200 since the start of the year," David Furtner, police spokesman in Upper Austria state, told AFP news agency.

Last week, Sweden, a favoured destination for many of the migrants, sought to stem the flow by imposing controls on travellers from Denmark."

Paul Murray "Live" The opinion side of Sky news Australia was also very vocal I must say. But this was not reflected in the above option piece by ABC.

The silence is not a conspiracy; it's a collective paralysis in the face of the unspeakable. I suspect that the speed of modern media has encouraged our traditional preference for reducing all issues to black and white; goodies and baddies. This must be adding to the confusion on the so-called left side of the commentariat. Asylum seekers are supposed to be good people in bad circumstances. But good people don't rape - ever. Good men don't abuse, assault or harass women. Nothing excuses what a large number of men did in Cologne. So, it follows necessarily, some of the men among the exodus to Western Europe are not good men.

I do not follow your logic, sorry

I'm starting to worry more about hateful moron culture.

when you agreed earlier on that

.....The attacks in Cologne were horrific. The responses .... by officials .... have also been horrific.

Suddenly, anyone questioning the adequacy [or lack thereof] of the current policy framework [open borders, no criminal background check, difficult deportation, congregation of young ethnic males, reflexive dismissal by authorities etc...] suddenly becomes "moronic" Neanderthals ?

Strange indeed - even for an apologist of any colour / gender !

? Seen this video - taken in Cairo - during the "revolution"

It appears there might be something common with what happened in Germany, Stockholm, UK and even in Egypt ..... Blanket, instant denial is not an intelligent response to a complex issue which requires a recalibration of what we know [watch the Egyptian Psychology Professor's explanations]

It took days for police to acknowledge the extent of the mass attacks on women celebrating New Year’s Eve in Cologne. The Germans were lucky; in Sweden, similar attacks have been taking place for more than a year and the authorities are still playing catch up.

It's not only Germany that covers up mass sex attacks by migrant men... Sweden's record is shameful» The Spectator

That has been going on in Sweden for some time.Even to quote the figures of the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention, which until 2006 recorded the nationality of the rapists, will get you into trouble and before a court-
Swedish Politician Fined for 'Hate Speech' Against Islam

Which means you have Swedish media with articles like this-
Eight Swedes questioned over ferry 'gang rape' - The Local

The "Swedes"were 7 Somalis and an Iraqi that did not have Swedish citizenship.

On the other hand there will be those who use these figures for their own devious ends eg Anders Brievik.

It is about time that there was an open discussion on these sort of topics.Hiding them will solve nothing.

Although perhaps revealing the nationality/ethnicity of the perpetrators will solve nothing either. I'm confident the issues have been carefully weighed in reaching the decision not to state nationality.

This reminded me of the "controversy" during Bob Carr's time in NSW when the Middle Eastern Crime Squad was being set up.

The Police Commissioner (NSW) was pretty specific in his description. So was Paul Sheehan.

So, yes, it was "carefully weighed" to .... state the nationality then.

The same Swedish Government though also brought in a short lived policy that boys should sit when going to the restroom as standing was typical of the male dominant position. After the urinals were removed from the first school the outcry saw the program rescinded.Well though out though.

Hahaha, that must have been a UN (Useless Nations) policy. The Norwegians don't have much to say about the Swedish way of doing things.

I'm not sure of the link with Australia? We have a similar policy in Australia of not identifying the nationality/ethnicity of perpetrators of crimes (unless there is a good reason to do so). I can think of reasons why we shouldn't, but not too many why we should. Government has a more strategic view - taking into account not just police activities, but also issues of social cohesion and anti-discrimination. If the current policy is not to identify, I would hope it's based on the best current reasoning/evidence for that.
