Mate has some 1-2 night Perth hotel stay a few times a year.
Had stayed at some place $165 a night and was recently upset the bar was closed early and when begged for a beer did not realise until morning he was charged $9 for a light beer!!!!
So Accor plat member paid.
Any suggestion to stay in or north Perth?

Richardson is a great joint, has a reputation for expensive hookers .... although city based, it is a decent walk to anything ..would look at the Parmelia Hilton or Duxton

Would seem only right that the hookers are just as expensive as everything else at the hotel :)

Well they are not loaded and married.... Now in saying that he is now in Belmont and he reckons not one chick of staying at the place! Looking forward to Accor on golf course early next week.
Any other places recommended?

I very much like parmelia Hilton. Walking distance to town.
Rydges walking distance to town. close to places to get a bite.
Crown Metropol had a nice room but the piano player was constant and annoying to hear in the room. It's across the river though. Lion king show around there so will be busy in that area until leaves March.
Fraser suites is nice but a bit down the other end of town. There's a free bus to take up the road though.
Novotel is closer but I wasn't impressed with the room scrunched with an extra bed we didn't ask for and the table tipped on side because of it. But we shot out for dinner then left early the next day so didn't have to look at it for long. Not as nice as some others.

Hilton is my fav and most but not all times reasonably priced. Good breakkie. If you combine with qantas voucher if you're flying in then $129 for basic room currently. Rydges I also like due to location although Fraser suites as a room ranked above Hilton and Rydges but I may have booked a slightly nicer/bigger option than usual.

Theyre all clean. I think all had charges for parking. Only used gym at Hilton.

I think im done trialling hotels in Perth and am happy with Hilton and Rydges.

We prefer the Hyatt at the east end of town. There is a shuttle bus into the city, reasonable parking and the food is ok at the smorgasbord. Three in our family are Club at the Hyatt members and that pays for itself in 2 stays in most cases.
