What should I get a flying nut as a wedding present?

Not long before Christmas I'm heading to MEL for a wedding of two dear friends. She is, in particular, a plane nut. She loves planes, and flying on them.

I thought about buying her some AAadvantage points but I learnt she's not a member. (She loves plane stuff a little more than the ins and outs of the soft product, but she's in to that too.)

I thought about getting her an old-school travel bag (BOAC, PanAm, etc) but I understand she already has a few.

So....thoughts, and suggestions, would be most welcome!

(Also, what do I get for someone who is marrying a plane nut?)

Many thanks.

I'm pretty sure Clive Palmer will have one going cheap soon

On a more serious note, what about a joy flight on something special?

Large model plane? Perhaps a classic version such as a QF 742 or something in retro colours? They look good anywhere.

Well, you left it a bit late as the wedding isn't far away and whatever you get, it needs to be a gift for both of them - not just her.

What about matching tshirts - got this one at the Boeing factory in Seattle

What about personalised luggage tags for the happy couple?

Edit: Or the tracker luggage tags that AFF sell?

is a bit late, but you can always look on ebay, you might find some old safely card maybe she will like it? otherwise someone said model plane like 1:200 size will be a nice display or you can even try the 1:100 size? or get them qantas voucher?

If it has to be plane related, I would probably look at getting a cabin trolley, or a set of the retired seats. However, since she's likely to buy anything plane related eventually, it might be a better idea to get something else entirely different.

Malaysia is looking for the owner of 3 x 747's sitting at their airport. I guess you can put your hand up for one of them but only if they gift wrap it.
