Hi all,

MrsChooms and I are arriving into JFK on QF11 and are transiting straight to BOS with AA.

I was hoping someone could give me some advice/answers to a couple of questions about the transit.

We have a 3 hours transit time between the two flights.

How hard is it to transfer between the two terminals? Is there a walkway or do we catch a train?

Also, our bags should be tagged all the way to Boston - will they be transferred for us or do we collect then re-check when we arrive at Terminal 8?

Any advice is appreciated.

The train is probably the easiest. Covered walkway to the train at both terminals. The bags should be transferred for you.

The air train is free and there are effectively 2 loops on the airport so as long as you get on the right train it's one stop so will only take a couple of minutes. All very easy just following the signs.

Just make sure your bags are checked through from Australia but you shouldn't have to touch them at JFK (only LAX).
