We received a card to use for future visits when ketsuzei booked the private room at Noma Tokyo in January... I'm hoping that will count for something here.

There was a tofu + shaved walnut dish there that was basically the best thing I've ever eaten, and (the memory of) that alone might tempt me to splurge again if the opportunity arises.

The monkfish liver on toast was also pretty amazing. The photos here are better than the ones I took:

The crisps in the rice dessert were made from sake, which was also a nice touch.

Called as soon as registration opened and all seats were already allocated.

So anyone get a reservation for Noma Australia? Wasted 40 minutes of my time this am....hard to believe every table for every date was booked out within 15 seconds of the bookings going live...for the IT experts, are people using some sort of script to book? how would they do it if they haven't seen the website previously?

I tried online and everything was blocked or booked straight away. It said there was availability but when I clicked it was blocked. Sigh.... Put my name on the waitlist but I think I will need to find somewhere else interesting to go for lunch!

Missed too. I reckon they only released a few tables for each day. What a joke, as if they all went within seconds. I'm quick on the mouse too! Lol

Pretty much my experience too - I clicked on timeslots only to find they had suddenly become blocked. Everything was gone within the first minute.

I hung around as they suggested for another twenty minutes and saw some bigger tables become available before being snapped up again. Have also put my name on the waitlist.

I don't know anybody who booked a table. I tried for 30 minutes but each table that showed available (green) changed to unavailable (red) a second or two after I clicked on it. I had pre-registered my account and pre-loaded my credit card, as had others I know who also missed out. The final night tables haven't been released so that might be a last-ditch option, but an industry contact tells me that this was run "like Olympic ticketing" with nothing made available outside the booking process so it might be all over bar the shouting.

Two people on my Facebook group were successful. One via a friend and the other directly.
Pretty sure both of them are AFF members as well.
