New Amex statement credits

A quick one on this: whilst normally true, something is different about airfares with Amex. My plat charge will show the PNR of the flight purchased, among other things. No idea how or why, but it does!

QF vouchers have a PNR too, so if Amex use that as a condition of eligibility then should work.

I just picked up my $50 QF credit, care of a sale J booking to CHC. All round good timing on the sale and the statement credit :).

According to to reports on ozbargain it should. Of course I'm not counting on it, but would be a nice bonus. :)
Well I certainly wouldn't believe everything I read on ozbargain but even random thoughts are right sometimes and in this case it may well be so.

Well, it took a few days for the $350 charge to show up on my new velocity card. Currently under 'offers' the Qantas deal is showing up as 'redeemed', but I have not yet been credited the $50 nor have I received an email from them. I am at least hopeful now. :)

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I needed to buy a gift for someone today, so chanced buying a Qantas gift card. I will advise if it triggers the credit.

I can confirm that the credit does indeed kick in for QF vouchers - received mine on a WBC Amex today. Took four days from purchase, which is within the five days that the Offer Terms stated. Happy as! ;)

Yep, my $50 was credited today also. Never got an email, but I'm not complaining. Thanks Amex! :-D

I have "tried" Agent fares, will advise.

I too just used one of my 3 x hicaps offers, just by using the CC. Did not actually use hicaps directly so got full points and the 'reward.

Never ever pay my health bills via private insurance (HICAPS), instead I always aim for the points. Don't care the cost involved (ie: surcharge), as private health is paying most of my cc bill each and every time.

2 new offers on my Amex today;

Country Road - spend $150 for $50 credit.
Presto - spend $29.98 for $29.98 credit.

Seems like a great deal but is not in any of the offers on any of my cards. Do you have a link to register for it?
