What is exact timing of release of QF award seats? Something like 11am EST T-353 or such isn't it?

i always get confused with the exact date... and I know I've been told 100 times on here. It's why I tend to say 'a year out'

Sorry for the dumb question, but i tried to find this answer on the Qantas website.
How late can one cancel a classic award flight and what's the charge?
I was also thinking of bringing my 2 month old baby girl along on a business award flight, what's the charge for her if mine is an award flight by CX?

for a straight out ticket, yes.

for an upgrade award, no. they will only be deducted at the time the upgrade is approved.

there is no ability to 'hold' award seats through the QFFF program.

Though you must have enough points for the upgrade at the time it is requested.

And of course upgrades are available only on QF operated and marketed flights.

'Prior to commencing travel' - meaning anytime up to scheduled departure time. Although you'd probably want to do it with an hour or two to spare!

If your profile in QFF does not have middle name is there any way to add that without calling QF to do it? I cannot see where / how I can do it myself online?
