$240 for a $300 woolworths online voucher on eBay

It does appear in the "eBay Group Deal" page though...

eBay Group Deal Products

Which implies some sort of approval process by eBay.

And the graphic design and terms and conditions are pretty schmick for a scam.... maybe I judged this one too early.

T&Cs in listing seem pretty clear and a "Promotional period" is mentioned.

Still wouldn't risk it.

PayPal is a payment option so there should be protection via that. I still think though that I would pay my $285 for a $300 wish card until they are better known.

I think its genuine but the requirement to spend the whole amount in one transaction puts me off somewhat!

Protection from ebay, paypal and credit card. Great to buy long-life products and toilet paper etc... I think it is just a push by Woolworths to encourage people to buy by delivery.

Indeed, they have in fact done this via a number of other channels including groupon and cashrewards so I think its genuine. In fact I suspect you can stack this and the cashrewards discount. Not so sure I could find $300 worth to buy in one go though!

It sounds fairly risky and not relevant to me as I would never spend $300 in one transaction.

There have been some comments above regarding protection from PayPal. I don't know whether this type of purchase is protected. It's not a gift card but it might fall into a similar category and not be protected under their current policy.

Life is no fun without a few risks. I remember the first time I read about USDM I thought it was risky! Personally I think the second half of your argument has more validity but none is forcing anyone to make use of this deal! Make your own judgement and then live by it.

Of no use to me.
I just buy wish vouchers with my Amex and am happy with the 5% discount.

Question is will it work with the Qantas points store ebay points?

I signed in to qantas points store and purchased the voucher so lets see..

I Did the same thru Velocity.....should work. It doesn't work thru CashRewards etc. bonus pts are bonus pts, they certainly add up

It's not as if WOW will allow you to buy 300 toilet rolls, I've tried it, but they have a limit of 12. So, maybe also need a few kgs of smoked salmon for the freezer.
