Spring has (almost) sprung, love is in the air, and we have a great Companion Sale...so to celebrate, I wrote you a soppy poem:

Roses are red,
and Qantas is too.
The new First Lounge menu is here*,
please share your feedback with Red Roo.

*Sydney stared yesterday 25 August 2015, and Melbourne will follow tomorrow 27 August 2015.

"All day dining available from 11.30am" sounds kinda unintentionally hilarious ;)

But the food sounds good though :)

I have no doubt the food will be excellent :) but 2013 Maverick Twins GSM yummmmm

Thanks Red Roo.

Little disappointed the Winter Menu is gone - especially the duck and the chilli fish which were amazing. Still, some new items to try!

In my experience the Melbourne lounge wines are quite different. Any chance of the Mel F lounge menu too?

Great to see those mouth- watering favourites such as The Salt & Pepper Squid, The Minute Steak , The Club Sandwich and of course the Pavlova still remain staples of the menu :)

Food sounds quite good but it's always badly over salted and generally oily. Have they fixed the service though?

Thanks for the heads up Red Roo..I wonder whether QF could / would consider an Asian (cooked) option(s) for the breakfast F menu....if you have eaten breakfast at any 5* hotel in Asia you will know what I mean:)

Great suggestion.

There is barely one item on the breakfast menu that isn't high in fat, sugar or salt, or all three.

Need to find me a WP!

From what I'm told, and it isn't much, I could be flying BNE-SYD-NAN on the same day you're heading across the ditch, but I have a feeling I'll be on an FJ code, notwithstanding the little issue of having to be on the same flight anyway!

I've spotted JQ28 though and despite being broke am considering it...

This is slightly off-topic, but does anyone know when the F lounges stop serving main meals - an hour before close? Or earlier? I have a couple of late night flights coming up which leave soon after lounges close. Keen to know how late I can leave a meal?

I'm J PER-SYD next Tuesday, overnight at the Rydges then J SYD-DFW 1300 Wednesday.

Hmmnnn, breakfast and lunch in the F lounge and dinner on the bird sounds like a good way to spend the day :D.

Now, about that F UPG...;).

I'm on an OMG o'clock EK flight SYD-DXB at the end of next month and desperately hoping the F lounge is open early enough for me to try the new pancakes :)
