I'm try to book ADL-ICN return with Qantas. When do this the booking system is only offering "Sale" fares. No Flexi or whatever higher level Y fares. Airline combination are QF and OZ/QF or CX.

Anyone seen this before? Is this a product of having QF mixed with OZ or CX on each set of options? Why doesn't QF want to sell me a more expensive fare?

CX, offers the best outbound option, i.e. direct ADL-HKG, which QF refuse to even show. But on the return CX want to do things like fly me to TPE on Friday, to then dump me on the HKG-ADL flight on Saturday.

I think you are right. There are no direct QF options to ICN so they are offering the one option only.

It's really rubbish. There should be flexi options, surely. If not for the codeshare on Asiana, at least for the options that use QF and CX, or QF and JAL.
