Just got prompted by someone to signup but I still can't confirm for sure at this stage so Cruiser, can you please put me as Gold for now? Thanks.
Will add you A - but this aint one of those 'kiddie' parties that Tommy and penegal organize - this is a 'grown ups' get together - we don't have Golds / Plat etc - just a simple yep I'm in less I have 'broke leg or sumpin' or 'nope can't make it' is all that is acceptable!

HA! I don't organize anything. That's blackcat and JessicaTam's domain.

T-11 til MELCAN II - appears we may have 22 attendees but only 8 have indicated they will indeed be bringing a bottle of plonk - might need to do a 'Jesus' here if we are going to make it go around!

I thought you volunteered me to bring some Taittinger Brut NV? I might also bring some Duperrey 1er or Rose.

Speaking of which, I may need to enlist someone's assistance with physical delivery of said Champagne, as I will most likely be coming directly from work.

A grateful client just solved my dilemma. It may be interesting to compare vintages.

Available. Just drop it off again.

i purchased 2 champagnes well actually 2 and then 2 when I was reminded of the requirements;

I was tossing up between the 2nd 2 that I purchased.
Either Bollinger but that one has been taken so I will be bringing along a Veuve Clicquot, a Qantas First lounge favourite.

Hey CE, I can indeed make it! Yay! Thinking of overnighting at nearby hotel in case I get too intoxicated for public transport, any recommendations? Walking (crawling) distance preferred.

Looking forward to see you again; now just to decide the champagne, tough choice I know.

...

There's Rydges nearby (up to 200 metres) and a Novotel around the corner.

As serfty suggests Rydges Fitzroy St or Novotel around the corner are close enough to walk, but I personally think you might as well stay anywhere if you're willing to take a short uber ride (just don't tell CE :p).

YES I was remiss in not including that in original plan - let me be clear here - NO ARRIVALS / DEPARTURES VIA UBER!

Indeed I have instructed Topolinos Security Personel to refuse entry to anybody who breaches this directive.

Good luck with that one :p

I think you would be a lot better off spending your time constructing that spread sheet to record tasting notes on the 'phantom Champagnes' that 11 of the enlisted attendees will be brining / not bringing instead of wasting your precious thinking time on other matters.

Trying to persuade Mrs C to join us....... maybe I shouldn't, she's about 1500 lifetime SCs ahead of me ..... but, depending on her work commitments, she might be able to.

I'll pop this in the fridge in case:
