Qantas Voucher - Redeeming

I've got a QANTAS flight gift voucher that I have redeemed 50% of around 4 months ago. Was straight forward. Went online, went to the voucher section and entered the voucher code and bought multiple flights.

Have just gone in today, done the same thing. But it only shows my booked flights... and doesn't allow me to book any more flights even though I have plenty of $$$ left on the voucher.

I think after the site re-development this voucher redeem section has maybe been overlooked?

Has anyone else experienced this and know what other way there is to redeem the voucher? Currently on hold but that's going to take 15mins and maybe cost the phone booking fee.

QF should have issued a new gift voucher with the balance

I rang up after 24 hours and they told me to wait up to 3 days for reissue, 3 days later still nothing so rang back and they gave the new voucher code over the phone

Ah right! In their T&Cs they say a new code will be generated if you don't spend the full value... but I never received it and was able to book another flight with the old voucher (but that was within 1-2hours).

But it's been months and I haven't received a new code. No worries, thanks for the heads up. Been on hold for 25mins so hopefully they pick up soon and can give me a new code.

Have a look in your account at the list of your bookings. All of my residual value vouchers have shown up there. I assume this is because I add my QFF number when making the first booking with the gift voucher.

Check your emails for the original vouchers. Also the reference is given when purchasing a voucher, so note that down at the time. (add to spreadsheet)

If an email is not forthcoming for the residual value voucher then check the list of bookings in your QFF account. Otherwise, call as I'm pretty sure they can look up the residual value voucher reference using the booking reference that gave rise to the residual. (if that makes sense)
