Seems that a helicopter is the cool way to get from Melbourne to Geelong. Don't bother that it's no quicker than driving. Looks like Comcar better watch out, the might face the same challenge that Uber is bringing to the taxi industry. Still given the prosecution of past speakers for misusing cabcharge, it is a safe move to charter a helicopter instead. Wouldn't want to end up in court for misusing tax payer money.

Tell me again about how we've been saved from corruption.

Suspect the chopper is heaps quicker, albeit at $5000, that is one expensive chopper

Careful guys - criticising the elite will get you shut down (or worse). This is the United Australian Emirates, after all ...

Best avoid driving between Hobart and Launceston in Tasmania too. But because no scheduled airline flies that ludicrous short distance, a Senator has to clock up [-]$5,000[/-] sorry, $23,000 on charter flights.

Guess which party the Senator belongs to? And just a backbencher too. Heavy responsibilities, those bank (oops! back-) benchers.

Just a reminder about #glasshouses. ;)

Fair enough, but was the pupose of these trips to do with her responsibilities as a Senator, or was she going to a party 'fundraiser'? ;)

Sure, we can go back and forth but surely we know we can all find such excesses and waste on both sides (and the Greens too!!), right? Its just immature rock-chucking.

Nope. It's called breaking the law in Bronwyn's case. What part of that do the elite fail to understand? (Answer - any of it.)
