I just joined Turkish Airlines frequent flyer program, and for the life of me, I can't work out how to calculate status miles for Star Alliance airlines. Say, I want to fly from Sydney to London via Singapore Airlines or I can fly using Thai Airways, I am not able to find out each airlines status miles. Appreciate if someone points me to the right direction.
Thanks in advance.

Miles are earned depending on the number of miles flown and the booking class. You will need to take careful note of the booking class as some fare classes do not earn anything.

And to work out the number of miles flown best way is enter your flights/airports (including connections where you change flight numbers) into the paths box on Great Circle Mapper. (eg Sydney-Bangkok-London, enter SYD-BKK-LHR). It will give approximate distance (within 10miles usually).
