US TSA checks easily fooled

Cause for concern as checks are not as robust as expected:

Nothing new here, they've been failing these tests since their inception and will continue to do so forever.

Changi staff once picked up a wayward sewing needle that fell in the bottom of my handbag. Super apologetic about going through my bag but they found it and even offered to security bag it so I could get it after the flight, and he said it with a straight face.
