Anyone have any experience in Delta Business class and how it rates over VA business class ? Flying from Sydney to LAX.

Trying for a VA business class reward seat, but noticed when I looked today (331 days out from flight) that no reward seats for VA have been released for that date (not even PE or anyseat business) the only business rewards seats released are on Delta (with a DL flight #)

Don't know what the DL business product is like, and all reviews I'll seen online are a few years old. Any info would be appreciated

Service is a mixed bag & personally I prefer the service on VA. I also found VA food better. Travelling alone preferred Delta seat arrangement but with someone else row 5 is hard to beat on VA. The Delta seat was fine though and IFE was ok. Lounge outbound is Air New Zealand for both again now but coming home the LAX Star lounge is better than the Sky Club at T5.

Considering you are looking so far in advance ... VA will have a totally new product by this time so any comparison would not be valid. Based on some members who have tried out the new VA seats ... VA would beat the DL product by a long way ..... The VA service and food is also better

Thanks for the info DJSYD81. 1
I have been tracking business availability rewards for the last 4 weeks with VFF, and without fail VA released business reward seats every day at the 331 day count-down.
Good to know that if DL is the only business reward option to use my VFF points, that the DL business product is not a disaster.

True, I forgot about the new seats !!
Hoping now that VA are still going to release business seats for reward redemption when the new product comes into play.
Strange that only DL business flights are released for 331 days out being 1st May, and with a DL flight number also. Normally the DL metal has a VA flight number, but not this time.
