Hey guys

has anyone had an issue trying to book a flight with a specific fare? at the moment for example I am trying to book a fare from Melbourne to Paris and I select the fare I want yet when I get right to the end To confirm the booking it comes up with the below error. It is kind of annoying because I am trying to book a sale price which is really good. Does anyone have any advice on this as I am not sure what is going on.

  • Qantas.com flight search error: We are unable to confirm the fare for the flights you have selected from the airlines we search. Please cancel these segments and choose a different fare or flights and resubmit your confirmation request. (15012 - 12183 - 126)
  • Unable to retrieve Insurance Pricing information. (64209)

I was looking at some fares earlier this evening and found the Qantas web site to be rather patchy with a few random errors.

I have had issues the last couple of days where I try to book a one way flight and then choose modify search. The option of a one way flight is no longer available - only multi city or return flights.

Cleared the cache, re-started the browser, tried a different browser, tried a different computer. No better. The only way to get the one way choice back again is to re-boot.

Thank you.... thought I was going NUTS!! could not find how to book a one way fare, was going to post here, but will now do a re-boot.

Still not working properly this morning. I was trying to book a classic reward flights with CX from TSA to KIX and the system says "this route is not available on Classic Reward"! This is crazy because it was available for booking last week!

Was trying to research QF flights this morning using safari on my iMac, unable to do so, tried refresh, no one way showing not class and when places and dates clicked it returns to todays date. Just tried google chrome and its all there!.

And does it all stay there in Chrome after multiple searches? (Not on my system)

I can get it all back for one search by deleting cookies, but then it disappears again.

Nope - I tried everything and I still couldn't the tickets that I wanted for Classic Rewards. I'm searching for seats in Mar 2016 so I doubt they're sold out because last week I could see a lot of seats were available on CX metal. I think there's an internal error on the booking system, unless we no longer be able to use QFF points to book flights with CX!

I tried to call the customer service number but the waiting time to speak with a rep is longer than 10 mins so I couldn't be bothered. I just hope they are aware of this error and in the process of fixing it.

I've been having problems when tryng to search for Classic Rewards flights on two computers at work, one at home and and on my iPad. I've tried using Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome on Windows 7 PCs and on Safari on my iPad.

After logging in it will not show the fields for:
Return - One Way
Flexible with dates
Adults Children (it will show the headings but the pop down box to select 1 or 2 etc is not there)
Search Classic Rewards

I've tried clearing the cache and sometimes I can log in and search for a flight but when you then select "modify" the next screen doesn't show these fields.

I've been having this problem with Firefox for a few weeks and have been using Internet Explorer, which was working but seemed to be slower than normal, but now it's happening with all browsers, including Chrome, which I tried for the first time this morning. It worked the first time and the same thing then happened when I tried modify to search for different flights. Even closing Chrome and re-starting it, or restarting the computer has not fixed the problem.

After logging it it will not show the fields for:

Cant select other cities

Search Classic Rewards

Come on Qantas you can do better than this.

I get the same behaviour

iMac, Macbook Air, Dell running Win7 - 2 different browsers on each platform - same erratic behaviour. The stats are pointing to Qantas.

I hope this wasn't causing the problems I described in another thread where the J fares SIN to PER had gone up dramatically and stopover fares were cheaper than straight through. Ive now booked economy as the new J fares are out of my range. If they come down again with a website fix I'll be decidedly unhappy!

Hi all- the Qantas site for booking Classic Reward is now completely offline. Wonderful!

Sorry, must have been all my researching the total amount of points I need to book next holiday - I overloaded the system...
We can only hope it's off-line to get it fixed.

Maybe email them saying you were trying to book J award fares or something and found the cash price was good but now couldn't etc (I'm sure you have a better imagination than I), and if the prices do come back correctly once the issue is fixed you might have a leg to stand on in order to get them at the rate that you saw previously? Haven't the faintest idea if it would work but might be worth the effort of a 5 minute email?

After a few searches One-Way (and most of the search options) randomly disappear, and that's over several browsers. I can't believe this is so broken!
Yes the only way to fix is to delete cookies .. but that's a bit techy for most people.
Pretty bad they still haven't fixed it ..it's been 2+ days already
