Booked SYD-PVG on LM. Stopover around 10 hours. Then PVG-ZRH on AAdvantage.

Question is - can I transfer luggage from from SYD straight to ZRH, and do I have to leave the PVG airport to go out and come back in to check =in

Specifying which airlines you're flying with on those sectors would help answer your question...

I have no experience with OS but had a tight connection once from OZ to RJ and they sent my luggage all the way to final destination.
Anyway I would suggest to call OZ SYD office to get the most accurate information.

For anyone else's reference, just found out this is not possible
Have to check out luggage at PVG and check back in. Will need to get 72 hour Visa waiver that the lady spoke of.

Anyone know any lounges in PVG that can be used with BA business ticket or Priority Pass? With OZ business ticket I can use the air China lounge.
