Hi all,

Just wondering if someone with KVSTool access or similar can advise of the MCT @ SIN?
I'm going from BA16 (SYD-SIN) to BA12 (SIN-LHR). BA16 arrives at 2145 and BA12 departs at 2245. This is part of an Aadvantage award booking and is all one ticket. Ideally hoping that I can even get to the QF lounge for a quick shower!

Cheers :),

MCT is an airline thing (for each airport) not an airport thing. So if you are on the one ticket, it has met the airline's MCT! But in SIN it's a "go to the gate" very early because screening is done there. With a 1 hour transit you'll be lucky to get 10 minutes lounge time!

Actually it's not bad to get there late in the process. Just find out what time the gate closes and arrive there five minutes before hand. Security queues have usually subsided by then, and it's often straight through security. Of course this wouldn't work if everyone did it, but it does give those on short connections the chance to shower or briefly enjoy the lounge :-)

Thanks folks :). Just a bit weary that a slight delay on the SYD-SIN leg could cause issues with trying to make the LHR leg (although BA16 continues on to LHR after I get off, it wasn't an option when booking the aaward flight hence taking BA12). Am I protected as a redemption booking if this does occur?
