Again for opusman - sorry, but best shot I have! In all the A320 family Avianca run three rows of four-across J seating. They are not a bad chair, the IFE system is ok, and as all the sectors are so short, it is nice way to travel. Even on the 25 minute sectors they serve coffee/juice/wáter including in economy. Business also offers whisky or rum.

Thanks! I'm flying J LIM-BOG-CTG-MIA on AV in May so interesting to know what it will be like.

Anyway guys and gals, that´s it for now - four flights, 8 ¨qualifying sectors¨, and I am on my way to reclaim my *Alliance status. I truly apologise for the photo quality - photographer I am not. But hope there was something in here of interest to each of you. :)

Great pics and fascinating TR.

What sort of work keeps you in Colombia?

docjames, like everything in Colombia, it is a ¨bit complicated¨. Basically I am a fanatical greenie that is trying to save the world by teaching better mining practices. Translated: I work in the alluvial gold industry - not the cowboy stuff that they do shows on TV about - I teach zero-mercury techniques and gear and sedimentation-prevention that is actually applicable to the small-scale and artisanal miner. There are lots of save-the-world organisations, but they tend to be full of great ideas that do not actually work in practice. Colombia is a beautiful country and the devastation caused by gold mining is destroying the place - I am trying to change that. Simple :)

This is the snack they managed at 6:30am on the 30min MDE-BOG run. Coffee, a wáter, and a pack of some healthy cereal biscuits. IFE has variety of music, TV shows, games.
