Hello All,

I'm hoping someone here can give me a hand with my query. I want to fly from Melbourne to Zurich around mid-August 2015 (for one passenger). When I search MEL-SIN around that date, all three flights show availability. When I look at availability from SIN-ZRH, there is also availability on the same dates. I have even tried looking for 2 passengers and there is availability.

When I look at MEL-ZRH however, I can hardly find anything available. It's mostly only wait-list that I can see in the saver level. Anyone know how I can get around this?

I want to book it online so I can get the 15% discount.

Thanks in advance.

You cant get around it unfortunately. Krisflyer availability is dependent on origin and destination. The seats you are seeing are reserved for those terminating/originating in SIN or connecting to other select destinations. Allocations for MEL-ZRH are likely to have been exhausted. You will have to book two separate awards if you want those flights. The call centre cant override this.

Thanks for your quick response aikman. Would you expect availability in August to change much from here till then?

Do you know if SQ availability changes around much?

Often, with SQ when something cannot be booked online, the call centre can be very helpful in making things work and as soon as you tell them you could not book online, they will happily apply the 15% discount. That said, I have no specific experience with this exact scenario.

Thanks Nizar - I'll definitely give that a go.
