My anniversary date is Feb 28th and last night I logged into to my f/flyer account to see whether my SYD-NAN flight from Monday had posted (it had). On my summary page it stated that I had 1,177 SC's and needed 23 before Feb 28th to re-qualify (I have a return flight to SYD tomorrow as well as other booked flights next week that will take me over the 1,200 needed before the 28th). The strange thing was that a small pop-up box came up to say congratulations that I had re-qualified for WP for another year. After closing that pop-up my account is still showing up as having 1,177 SCs and it states "You need 23 additional Status Credits to keep Platinum". There is no mention of Feb 28th 2016 anywhere and the pop-up has not reappeared.

How can I tell if I have actually been comped? I had been told by customer service previously that being comped was a possibility for this year but I wanted to get over the line myself and save a comp for the time that I really need it.

My anniversary is Feb 28 and I also got the pop up box congratulating me this morning (I think the new status wheel was replaced with the message the first time I went to my account page) - I am well over the re qualification threshold though so it is about 6 months late.

If you make Platinum in your own right the status comp will be wiped off.

I was comped 2 years running near my anniversary but made Platinum each time.

I wish I got that email. I hit 2464 QF status credits for 2013-2014. But only 310 for 2014-Feb 28 2015.

Yo have been comped back into WP, however its always better to get there on your own steam. Looks like you will too before the anniversary date. So the comp as others have said will remain unused for when you collapse just short of the finishing line.

Yep, got there on my own in the end...without DSC offers and JASAs ;)
