Dont know if this is just a first world problem or something worth writing home about but i thought i would bring it up

So i was coming back BNE to SYD on Australia Day and i noticed that the soundtrack for billboard was the December track still.
Surely by Jan 26 there must have been time to change it over, the Mags had been changed. SYD to BNE on the 23rd was Jan and fine.

I did take a HKG to SYD on Jan 3rd and also noted the December track still playing. I dont think this one is a big issue as it was start of the month. Although they did have time to change 300+ QF magazines over just not change the sound tracks the mag refers to. There was a movie i wanted to see but because they were still playing the Dec movies as well i didnt get to see it on my return flight. This is fine and a non issue really.

Ive often come back on plans a few days into a new month so know its probably not changed over. I dont expect someone at the stroke of midnight to be changing the tapes on the entire fleet but by a week or so into it would be nice.

Perhaps the person that should have changed the soundtrack on that aircraft had forgotten.

Or it was intentional sabotage. ;)

...maybe they don't return to work until the schools go back ...!

(Warning, thread hijack ...) was on the 454 last night, old aircraft utilizing the drop-down screens. Quite useless when the screen is 3 rows away and the programme has subtitles because the subject is exotic recipes (in their native country).

Obviously no-one considers this when buying the programmes.
